Aleesha Keti is an up and coming life coach from Melbourne, Australia.
She has been a close friend of mine for the past 10 years and is one of the most beautiful souls you will ever meet. I joke that she has been coaching me for free for years. Aleesha is born to be in that role, and I am so proud of her, following her passion and helping others.
Today, we talk to her about her journey into this field via a psychics nation Q&A.
Why are you a life coach? What led you here?
I found myself embarking on a personal healing journey as I began piecing together the behaviours in my life that weren’t serving me, yet I felt I couldn’t change.
This journey led me to recognise a strength I had to listen and be there for others, I began thinking I would pursue counselling and found myself in a two- day life coaching workshop instead. It is my purpose.
Tell us about the journey?
This is most definitely a spiritual journey for me. A defining moment several years ago that I will never forget as it opened my mind to the spiritual world.
The defining moment was actually a conversation with you, my soul sister about a psychic reading you had that day. This reader told you to find a peaceful moment and light a candle that night and to ask the universe out loud for some guidance. I remember you said you felt silly as you did this, but you did it anyway. Then you were stunned as almost instantly 3 words repeatedly flashed in your mind. You recommended I give this a go.
It didn’t happen instantly for me but I can say from the next day onwards my life completely changed. I began receiving messages and constant synchronicities. I then began to ask myself why I got in my own way so often in life? Particularly when it came to achieving personal goals that felt fulfilling to me.
That experience spurred me to find my purpose, I found myself in a life coaching weekend workshop and experienced so many a-ha!! moments.
I felt inner healing on m
any levels within that weekend.
That was almost a year and a half ago that I signed up to do a three-year course with The Coaching Institute. I realise the study, training and coaching I do lights me up so much that it doesn’t actually feel like work.
I signed up a few months ago to my own sales/marketing coach Nina who supports conscious,heart-centred coaches and entrepreneurs to realise their financial worth.
I had my first client pay in full for a 12-week program within 17 days, and have slowly added more since that day.
I am finally getting out of my own way.
What makes you happy?
I realised during the initial weekend workshop, the healing I experienced was needed in this world. I know it is something I wanted to assist others with, that we’re looking for support but hadn’t found it yet.
It makes me happy to see someone vulnerably take action to heal their own lives, to live free of the limiting beliefs, self-doubt and self-sabotage that has plagued them and their families for too long. To see someone recognise their worth and believe they matter and they are loved and loveable. This makes my soul so happy.
Do you have any daily rituals that you follow?
I’m aware that to be able to serve others, I must always fill my own cup first. My morning routine consists of a combination of the following, I journal daily, have regular cold showers, use meditation both silent & guided and breathwork and also like to begin my day with a mixture physical activity including, yoga, stretching, dancing, walking or running.
I use all these to tap into my higher self and inner child and to feel more conscious and present within my body.
Who are your mentors? Who do you look up to?
As a coach, I have several mentors from The Coaching Institute. Sharon Pearson, Matt Lavars and Joe Pane are all amazing.
My current mentor has phenomenally changed my life this last month. Her name is Nina Concepcion.
I’ve recently completed a 6-week self-development program where I was mentored by Davidson Muliaga whom I am endlessly grateful for.
Lastly, would be the handful of beautiful humans in my life that are my confidants, soundboards and whom I can turn to for love, support and guidance.
How do you hope to be remembered when you leave this earth?
I’d hope to leave behind a successful coaching business and a foundation that supports and protects disadvantaged abused children and teens.
I hope to be remembered as someone who created a safe space for others to be seen, heard and held. Someone who was nurturing, compassionate, empowering of others, kind and loving.
I love hearing you tell your story and seeing you follow your passion. You are meant to be doing this. When you described how you want to be remembered, I can say that sums up who you are and who you have always been. I am very grateful to have you in my life, and I can’t wait to watch you go on to enhance the lives of so many others.
