I became a psychic scammer overnight!
I charged $200 to remove curses and everything.
Am I being serious?………….. No. I’m not.
I’m actually referring to the time my Public Image was fraudulently replicated on my Instagram to scam my followers. It worked too!
Hundreds of people believing the lie that my “other account didn’t work” and I had to create a new one.
This was the first time I actually was scared for my public image and had worries that perhaps real potential clients will be left with a bad impression of me, even though it certainly was not.
You, on the other hand, might be in a different boat.
Do you ever have this existential crisis where you think, am I making this up? Am I just charging people for things I pull out of my behind?
The answer is, probably not. I don’t know you! But what I can say is that your work will speak for itself. How?
1 – You will have genuine and satisfied clients.
“But how do I know I have genuine and satisfied clients?” you ask. They will tell you.
A client is investing in your business a decent amount of money (I hope). If something seems off or wasn’t what you wrote on the can, they will be back. There is a big difference between unsatisfied clients and troublesome clients.
2 – You will have real, honest reviews (not just 5 stars).
Along with satisfied clients are the ones who leave a review. A review is the greatest expression of appreciation and the single highest form of authority and trust instilled in a client. Three good, reliable reviews are better than 30 fake, botched, fabricated reviews to have a good image. We all start somewhere, and most of the time it’s without a single review.
3 – Others will mention you and refer on.
Others mentioning your name shows confidence in your power. If you have had people speak well of you, know that you are certainly not a scam.
We don’t just work to make a living; we work to help. If you keep spirit, and make accommodations for spirit in your career, you will find people approach from a place of deep confidence in you.
Clients won’t have the faces that appear like a stunned mullet.
They will google you, stalk your socials and dig to find stuff about you and be ready for the appointment.
4 – Others will mention you and refer on.
We are often influenced by our peers. The clothes they wear, the water bottle they bought off catch of the day, the shows they watch.
Word of Mouth clients are extremely valuable. People wouldn’t refer on to you if you had ‘dodgy-ed’ the reading and made up a completely phoney story. It’s important to trust yourself. To back yourself.
You are your biggest commodity and your only competitor.
Friends and Family who support you are the number one cheerleader squad you need. I’ve had many times when I felt I didn’t act in accordance with my own convictions and needed my friends and family to remind me of my core values and remind me that not only am I excellent at what I do, but I am also an honest and trustworthy person, Psychic or not.
Scammers are few and far between, but sadly, they do exist.
Last thought, Even having the dilemma is a sure sign you’re not scamming, and it’s just self-doubt rearing it’s ugly head, that you can and will overcome.
